Cargo Spaces - Tanker

INEC designs and provides layouts and arrangements for all machinery and cargo spaces on board of ships.

The list below shows an abstract of INEC's scope of supply for Oil- Chemical Tanker.

Arrangement of the Cargo Area

• main cargo equipment - cargo pumps (hydraulic or electric), hatches, tank washing machines, tank sounding devices (acoustic or radar), etc.
• main piping - cargo pipes, vent pipes, tank washing pipes, tank venting & drying pipes, etc.

Arrangement of the Manifold

• main equipment - individual cargo pipe crossover, collecting (common) pipe, discharge valves and flanges, spool pieces and segregation valves, reducers, etc.

Arrangement of other rooms and spaces in the cargo area

• pump rooms - ballast pump room, cargo pump room
• cargo equipment store, sample store
• heater room, ventilation & drying room
